APMP Irish Car of the Year

APMP-logo2The winner of the inaugural APMP Irish Car of the Year and APMP Van of the Year will be announced on October 6.

The membership of the Association of Professional Motoring Press (APMP) is the most highly read and respected group of motoring journalists in Ireland.

APMP membership includes columnists for The Independent and Independent.ie, The Irish Times, RTÉ, The Sunday World, The Sunday Times, The Herald, The Sunday Business Post and many more including our very own wheelsforwomen in fact, well over 45 titles and numerous broadcast outlets, too.

As well as the overall prize of APMP Irish Car of the Year and APMP Van of the Year, there will be 11  category awards for cars and 6 for vans:

Car Awards:
APMP City Car of the Year
APMP Small Car of the Year
APMP Family Car of the Year
APMP Large Family Car of the Year
APMP Small SUV of the Year
APMP Mid-Size SUV of the Year
APMP Large SUV of the Year
APMP Luxury Car of the Year
APMP Performance Car of the Year
APMP Executive Car of the Year
APMP Car of the Year

Van Awards:
APMP Car derived Van of the Year
APMP Small Van of the Year
APMP Mid-Size Van of the Year
APMP Large Van of the Year
APMP Pick up/4X4 of the Year
APMP Van of the Year

There will also be an APMP Innovation Award.
