Tomorrow the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2013 will be announced. From eleven shortlisted cars, 28 jurors from the Irish Motoring Writers Association have cast their votes. As a member of the Jury my votes have been cast based on a criteria ranging from driving dynamics, performance, innovation, to safety and build quality and value for money.
But in a fantasy world constraints of economy, practicality and safety could be disposed of and cars would be assessed on pure metal. With this in mind the wheelsforwomen team have ranked their cars from the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2013 shortlist and we have a crowned one car the victor, – not a unanimous choice but the result of robust and complex algorithms and stringent voting procedures.
