Ford C Max / Grand C-Max

What is it?
The Ford C-Max is just one of a number of people carriers from Ford. The C-Max and Grand C-Max offer five and seven seats respectively but there is also an S-Max and Galaxy in the range.

What is it like inside?
The interior of the C-Max is supremely comfortable, with beautifully supportive seats and a wonderful dash with everything easy to hand. Space wise, the five seater gains little if anything over a Ford Focus estate so the seven seater makes more sense.

What is it like to drive?
Ford brought car like driving dynamics to the People carrier market and both the C-Max and Grand C-Max are great to drive as they handle and corner almost like a sports saloon.

What is it likely to cost?
The five seater C-Max ranges in price from €25,011 to €31,332 and the seven seater from €28,085 to €34, 378. Fuel economy ranges from 4.6 to 5.6 litre per 100km for the C-Max and 4.9 to 5.8 litre per 100km for the Grand version.

Both the C-Max and Grand C-Max are among the best in the market. The five-seat version is distinctly more agile and better to drive but the seven seater is by far the more practical of the two.
