Kirsteen O'Sullivan
Originally from Fife in Scotland, Kirsteen O’Sullivan now lives in Dublin with her husband David who hails from Sligo. A regular face on Xpose, TV3’s fashion and celebrity show, Kirsteen has also presented Xccelerate, TV3’s motoring show and the Champions and Europa League shows.
What was your very first car? An electric blue Ford Fiesta, complete with choke and all. It was a great wee motor and I still have very found memories of me zooming around in it
What do you like about the Yeti? I think practicality is high on the list for me, I load it with surfboards and the dog and there’s still plenty of room. The Yeti is quite sporty and suits my lifestyle. It’s also got a nice bite and is really responsive. I love driving it.
Any funky features? The built in sat nav is pretty handy, especially when I’m navigating my way around Dublin for shoots. I couldn’t live without it now. It also connects directly to my phone and I can catch up on calls on the road.
Is there anything you don’t like about the Yeti? There’s nothing I dislike about it actually. It ticks all the boxes for me.
Describe your style Sporty, classic and sometimes daring, depending on my mood.
Does this car fit with your style? Yes I think so. Personally, I would never choose a car based solely on appearance. It’s well down the list of priorities but the Yeti really works for me.
Who would you recommend this car to? Actually I think it would suit so many people. I need a car, which will work for me during the week when I’m rushing around and at the weekend when I’m usually driving to the coast with the surfboards. I suppose anyone that needs a car with flexibility then it’s a great choice. I would also imagine it would be great for a family too as there’s so much space in there and it’s got a superb safety rating.
What do you never leave home without? My phone.
Who would be your dream passenger? Matthew McConaughey. No explanation required.
Ideal road trip for the Yeti? I would love to drive to the Outer Hebrides. It’s in the pipeline but it’s the kind of trip you can’t plan too much as it’s so weather dependent.
What CD are you listening to in your car? The Yeti is synched to my phone playlist and there’s a right mix on it, from Florence, Marina and the Diamonds, Mr. Scruff to Air.
