Last minute Christmas Gifts!

Xmas PresentsIf you’ve been struggling to find the ideal gift for a petrol head (or just want to treat yourself) we’ve got it covered! Forget those boring high street gift vouchers and check out what’s on offer around Ireland!

1. Driving experiences

My favorite option at Rally School Ireland is the 325i Rally Experiance which starts at €275 for a half day; for a couple the “Race and Chase” package allows you to take each other on in 350Zs starting from €265 per person and don’t forget the kids either – they also run a junior rally driving package for anyone aged 10+ which comes in at €130 per person. For more information visit their website.

At Mondello first choice is the Pro Drift experience – This starts at just €119 or for the same price you can take a supercar out on track! Check out their website for more details and to order your voucher.

2. Classic Car Hire

There are various companies offering classic car hire – depending on what you’re looking for. Courtyard Classics offer an Alfa Romeo Spider, Morris Minor and Datsun 280ZX among others. Prices start from €135. Retro Ventures Ireland offer both cars and motorbikes- they also offer guided motorbike tours of Ireland. At Classic Car Hire you can get an MGB Roadster, Mercedes 350SL or a TR6 with prices starting at €130. If you want to step back in time for a whole weekend Lazy Days have vintage campers to rent from €115/day off season.

3. Stocking Fillers

Micksgarage.ie have a range of Christmas gifts ranging from cleaning products to sat-navs! Alternatively, the OSI shop has a full range of maps for the whole country so you can explore every back road and to make sure you get there Irish Auto Parts stock workshop manuals for most makes & models.
