Louise Kennedy is one of Ireland’s most successful fashion designers. She holds an international reputation for creating clothes that are appreciated for their sophistication and quality of design. She is synonymous with elegance and luxury in the fashion and design industry.
What was your very first car? My first car was a Peugeot; my uncle was the principle Peugeot/Citroen dealer in Tipperary.
What do you like about the Mercedes-Benz E-Coupe? I adore their timeless design and superb craftsmanship. Mercedes Benz is internationally recognised for their excellence in customer care, which is one of the fundamentals for a luxury brand.
Is there anything you don’t like about Mercedes-Benz? What’s not to love, a prestigious company which is internationally recognised based on loyalty, heritage and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
Describe your style My personal style is based on elegant classical lines. I love tailored fitted garments worked with luxury modern fabrics. I adore style over fashion fads, investment dressing allows the opportunity to reintroduce key classics that never date.
Does this car fit with your style? Yes, my black Mercedes-Benz E-Coupe is a perfect fit. I admire their timeless designs, excellent craftsmanship and superior quality in every element of production. These are the principles we aim to achieve within our own brand each season.
Who would you recommend this car to? I have been a devotee for over twenty years; I would recommend Mercedes-Benz to the client who appreciates superb craftsmanship that have so elegantly evolved with time.
What do you never leave home without? I always travel with a large bag, preferably from Tanner Krolle, the oldest leather goods company in the UK , or from Hermes which allows for lots of options, always my I-Pad, mobile and Blackberry, I also carry a notepad and pencil, my passport , a fine LK cashmere wrap, Chanel compact, and a red Tom Ford lipstick. Always handy to keep some Visine eye drops to freshen up on a long journey.
Who would you love to be your dream passenger? How amazing to spend time with Coco Chanel, to hear how she built one of the biggest luxury goods companies in the world. An inspiring designer, who broke the mould in a male dominated industry. Hardly surprising, she too was a fan and drove a Mercedes-Benz 600.
Ideal Road Trip for the E Coupe? After recently visiting South Western Australia a super drive would be from Perth to Margaret River taking the Kwinana highway, experiencing the stunning scenery and the many well known Australian vineyards along the way.
What CD are you listening to in your car? When I am not listening to radio, the CD I keep to hand is U2’s The Joshua Tree. The Script, Adele and Madonna are other favourite artists of mine.
