The first fundraising event is a sponsored walk around Mondello Park, the Kildare venue where the Wicklow built cars race most regularly. At 6pm on June the 9th, they will assemble at Mondello, line up on the grid and when the lights turn green, the walk, and the fundraising begins! This event is open to everybody!.

Formula Sheane cars are built by Sheane Engineering in County Wicklow, are capable of speeds in excess of 242 km/h and can accelerate from 1-100km/h in under five seconds. They race at Mondello Park in Kildare, Kirkistown and Bishopscourt in Northern Ireland and The Phoenix Park, in the centre of Dublin.
