Answer
Hi Sinead,
Thanks for the question. The Nissan Juke is a supermini where as the Grand Vitara is a SUV so the choice between both is about space, price and driving needs. Price range for the Juke is between around €18,000 – €22,000. For that you get a very funky car that is a part coupe and part hatchback. Engine options are a 1.5 diesel or 1.6 petrol. The Juke arrived on the market last year so second hand options are not in huge supply but we did find a few for under €16,000.
The Grand Vitara is a lot more expensive new, at just under €35,000, but for that you get room for five passengers and it comes with a 4 wheel drive system. There is a decent amount for sale secondhand so finding a second hand one to suit your budget won’t be difficult
The Nissan Juke is very quirky and stylish but not hugely practical, the boot is quite small. The Grand Vitara is a smart looking SUV but it is dated at this stage, however it does have decent traction control so would be ideal during the winter and second hand bargains are plentiful.
Hope this helps!
