Renault Ireland is continuing to support of the charity Look Good Feel Better Ireland, with the supply of a Renault Twingo for a second year.
Look Good Feel Better Ireland is a non-medical, brand neutral, free service that supports women with the visible side effects during their cancer treatment by providing free practical advice in workshops, which are facilitated by professional beauty and hair advisors in hospitals across Ireland.
Due to Renault Ireland’s support and an increase in awareness, Look Good Feel Better Ireland is now in a position to offer this service to hospitals outside of the larger cities including Castlebar, Drogheda and Tullamore for 2017. The charity last year increased the number of hospitals where the service is offered from nine to twelve.
Margaret Heffernan and Emily Dunne, Joint Programme Managers for the charity, were delighted to accept the keys to their Renault Twingo from Lynne Boucher, Marketing Manager and Karla Clifford, Brand Communications Manager, Renault Ireland:
“Look Good Feel Better Ireland would like to thank Renault Ireland for their continuing support and the opportunity for us to promote our charity out and about with our wonderful Twingo. We are fully committed to improving the self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing of women undergoing all cancer treatment. Many beneficiaries tell us that the workshops helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment have taken over their lives. Last year we held 91 workshops and reached over 800 patients in 12 hospitals. Our aim is to reach more women in more hospitals across Ireland in 2017.”
Lynne Boucher, Marketing Manager Renault Ireland:
“Renault Ireland is delighted to continue in assisting such a worthy Irish charity and we are thrilled that our support in 2016 benefited the charity’s work. We hope that the Twingo further increases awareness of the amazing work that Look Good Feel Better Ireland does.”
