 What is it?
The Scenic and Grand Scenic are pioneers of the compact MPV class, and Renault’s latest Scenic attempts to deliver more family-friendly practicality with a sporty twist. The Scenic is a five-seat version and the Grand Scenic has a seven-seat capacity.

What is it like inside?
With storage space in abundance including compartments under the floor and the luggage area your biggest problem will be actually remembering where you put anything there is so much choice. Great visibililty and easy to use dials and instruments combine to make a very pleasant driving environment.

What is it like to drive?
On the road it has great car like qualities as it rides and handles well, while a little dull it is comfortable.

What is it likely to cost?
The Scenic ranges in price from €23,990 to €29,690 and the Grand Scenic from €27,390 to €32,390. Fuel economy varies from 4.5 litres per 100 km to 4.9 litres.

Overall
Renault are credited with inventing the people carrier and they are particularly good at extending and raising the bar for this type of vehicle. The new Scenic offers an impressive package that will continue to appeal to families of all ages.
