What was your first car and why did you buy it?
I bought my first car just after my 17th birthday and it was a Fiat Seicento and I thought I was the bomb!!!
What did you pay for it?
€2300
How did it change your life? I was the first person in my school to own my own car so I was definitely seen as the privileged one!! I was also the one to give everyone a lift to college so it worked well for a lot of people. It also gave me the independence needed to get from A-B. Away from the practicality of having a car, I thoroughly enjoy driving and I still do now even though I do a lot of mileage!
What was the longest trip you ever took in the car? The longest trip would have been in my second car which was a brand new Mini and the trip would have been from Cork-Belfast at the time.
What was your best memory or most memorable moment in the car? The most memorable moment was probably on the first day I got it when I was showing everyone my new cool wheels!
What was your worst memory associated with the car? I honestly don’t have one! I loved my little Seicento and it served me very well!!
How long did you keep your first car? I kept it for just over a year and I then bought a new Mini One.
Citroen DS3
What do you drive now? I drive a very stylish Citroen DS3 which is the best car I’ve ever had.
Any funky features? It has many! I’ve a wine colour coded roof & mirror frame! I also have the most amazing glossy dashboard which I love!
Describe your style My style would be classic with a twist with the emphasis on the ‘twist’! I love clothes that are practical & stylish but they have to have the ‘WOW’ factor whether it’s from a nice jacket or an amazing neckpiece of which I have plenty! I’ve nothing in my wardrobe that I don’t ‘love’!!
Does this car fit with your style? Absolutely! The DS3 has everything I’ve ever looked for in a car. It’s stylish with amazing performance yet easy to run!
What do you never leave home without? I would never leave home without my Iphone! I think I’ve a slight addiction!!
Who would be your dream passenger? My dream passenger would be Josh Groban! Sad I know but I just love him! He could serenade me while I drive!
Ideal road trip for the DS3 I’ve had many road trips in my DS3. As a stylist, I attend many events but I also weed out & restyle a lot of clients wardrobes all over the country so I’m on the road quite a lot and that’s why having a stylish car is so important!!
What CD are you listening to in your car? Right now, I’m listening to Emile Sande quite a bit as I think she’s amazing!
