Suzanne Keane looks at the Top 5 Christmas Presents for your inner petrol heads
1. Driving Experience
Whether it’s a track day, off-roading, drifting or a supercar experience there’s plenty of choice out there to suit everyone so grab a few friends, pick a date and enjoy the experience! (See how the Wheels for Women team got on at Mondello Park here). For more info contact Mondello Park or Rally School Ireland.
2. Clothes
Not that you need an excuse to buy more clothes I’m sure – but treat yourself to some motorsport inspired clothing from your favourite car company. Check out your main dealer and see what options they offer or if all else fails I’m sure you’ll find something on eBay!
3. Cleaning Kit
There’s no better way to spend your Christmas holidays than cleaning your car…. No really! A clean car can feel like a new car so set yourself up with the right products so you won’t have any excuse not to do it! Check out PR Reilly or Mick’s Garage for a great selection of perfect products.
4. Gloves
DIY car repairs can destroy a good manicure so get yourself some comfortable and durable mechanics gloves! Look out for a pair with reinforced fingertips….. Mick’s Garage is your best bet for these also!
5. Emergency Tool Kit
Keep yourself safe on those long (and short) journeys by making sure you have tools for quick repairs stored in the boot. A torch, wheel brace, trolley jack and screwdriver are essential items you need to have within easy reach. PR Reilly or Halfords stock all these items individually or in packs
