A 1986 Toyota Starlet<\/p><\/div>\n

What was your first car and why did you buy it?<\/strong> My first car was a 1986 white imported Toyota Starlet bought in 1995 and I loved her!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

What did you pay for it? <\/strong>It is so long ago as this stage I can’t remember for sure!<\/p>\n

\u00a0How did it change your life?<\/strong>\u00a0 It gave me independence, no more begging for lifts or using the bus.\u00a0 Was a stay-at-home Mum with a baby and I needed to get out!!<\/p>\n

What was the longest trip you ever took in the car? <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Dundrum to Bray!<\/p>\n

What was your best memory or most memorable moment in the car?<\/strong>\u00a0 Passing my test December 1995<\/p>\n

What was your worst memory associated with the car? <\/strong>The only problem was an alarm that sounded if I went over a particular speed. The car shook then anyway so alarm kind of unnecessary and was removed by helpful brother. The other quirk was a voice that informed me when the car alarm was turned off and on.\u00a0 The voice was loud and I got many a strange stare when I parked and was loudly informed that the “system is armed”!! Got some very strange looks!<\/p>\n

How long did you keep your first car? <\/strong>\u00a0 Replaced it in 1998 with a brand new Fiat Punto so three years of fond memories \u00a0<\/p>\n
