An Post R\u00e1s Na mBan competitor Fiona Guihen and Honda brand ambassador Alison Canavan<\/p><\/div>\n

Honda\u00a0announced\u00a0as the main vehicle sponsor for An Post \u00a0R\u00e1s Na mBan, Ireland\u2019s premier women\u2019s cycling\u00a0event.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Honda are to\u00a0provide the Honda JAZZ and the Honda CR-V as support cars for the 5 days in South Leinster.<\/p>\n

Spectators can expect 400km of racing action with the Honda Time Trial also taking place on Saturday the 10th<\/sup> of September.<\/p>\n

Valerie Considine, Race Director, An Post R\u00e1s na mBan said today: “We’re delighted to have secured this important relationship with Honda Ireland to support our event. Women’s cycle racing is developing at an exponential rate throughout the world and our event has grown in line with that expansion in popularity. Staging international stage races is a complicated process and we’re delighted that brands and companies of the stature of Honda have chosen to partner with us in the process of bringing top class women’s bike racing to the roads of Ireland.”<\/p>\n

John Saunders, Director of Sales and Marketing, Universal Honda Ltd said today: \u201cI am delighted for Honda to be associated with such a spectacular event and I look forward to seeing the cream of women\u2019s Irish cycling participating on an International level.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the launch this afternoon An Post R\u00e1s Na mBan competitor Fiona Guihen and Honda brand ambassador Alison Canavan took some time to showcase the benefits of Honda\u2019s multipurpose magic seats for cyclists all over Ireland, simply in three steps you can have your bicycle safely stored in the back seats of your car with still plenty of room in your boot!!<\/p>\n
