It has good room for its size but despite being billed as a five-seater family car you will struggle to fit three tall passengers in the rear comfortably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Under the bonnet?<\/strong> You will be spending no time or importantly money at the fuel pumps as the e-Soul can go 400+ km on a single charge from a 64kw battery. But remember if you fancy yourself a contender at Mondello then the range will disappear accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On the Road? <\/strong>It cruises effortlessly and thanks to that instant surge of power you get from an electric car you can zip from a 0-100kmh in a hot hatch like 7.9 seconds.  You can choose from \u2018Normal\u2019, \u2018Eco\u2019, Eco+\u2019 and \u2018Sport\u2019 mode. Stick the e-Soul in Eco and it will maximise the range while Sport mode increases responses from the steering and electric motor to maximise the dynamic driving feel of the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:right\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"850\" height=\"567\" class=\"wp-image-20766\" style=\"width: 850px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/e-soul_main3-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/e-soul_main3-1.jpg 850w, http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/e-soul_main3-1-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/e-soul_main3-1-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/e-soul_main3-1-321x214.jpg 321w, http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/e-soul_main3-1-140x94.jpg 140w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will it break the bank?  <\/strong>The e-Soul comes in two flavours &#8211; (K2 and K3) and prices start at \u20ac35,995 and the K3 at \u20ac37,495 and those prices include VRT relief and government grants. Reassuringly like all Kia models, the e-Soul comes with a 7-Year, 150,000-kilometre warranty, which also covers the car\u2019s electric motor and battery pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>How easy is it to\ncharge? <\/strong>The charging socket is\nnicely hidden behind a small panel at the front of the car and a \nCombined Charging System (CCS) DC fast charger is fitted as standard\nso the e-Soul can be recharged from 20% up to 80% capacity in just 42\nminutes from a 100 kW DC fast-charge<strong>r.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are my options?  <\/strong>All e-Souls<strong> <\/strong>come with a 10.25\u201d touchscreen AV\/Nav display and 7\u201d supervision cluster and safety features including Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control and Front Collison Avoidance. Additional features on the K3 include full leather trim, Harmon Kardon Sound System, Heads Up Display and Blind Spot Detection<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>What it says about you?<\/strong> You like to do your bit for the planet without showing off too much about it<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Verdict?<\/strong>  Overall,  the e-Soul is a very likeable car,  it&#8217;s fun, practical and distinctive.
