It is without doubt a sensible purchase but it is practical, safe and hugely reliable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is it aimed at?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Pretty much anyone in the market for a family car, it will accommodate five adults or a family\u00a0with small children easily and comfortably<\/p>\n<p><strong>Styling?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The new Avensis is an attractive looking car thanks to subtle improvements that have been made to the exterior such as the grille and headlights. If the number of compliments we received, from random bystanders, during our test drive are anything to go by then the improvements have certainly made the difference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under the Bonnet?<\/strong><br \/>\nOur car was powered by 2.0-litre disesl, with 124bp but more importantly to your wallet it emits a very euro friendly 120g\/km of CO2 which means it\u2019s in the lowest motor tax band.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u00a0about Inside?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Avensis has a modern and comfortable interior with ample space for five adults and an abundance of stretching room in the back. Everything feels solid and built to last, from the switches to the door handles; and the upholstery and materials are luxurious to touch. The well shaped and wide boot provides 509 litres of space for shopping, prams and anything else you care to squeeze in.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_568\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/avensis-interior2.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-568\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-568\" title=\"avensis-interior\" src=\"http:\/\/wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/avensis-interior2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/avensis-interior2.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/avensis-interior2-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-568\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Interior of the Avensis<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>On the Road?<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>It is<strong> <\/strong>rides smoothly and is refined with hushed wind, tyre, suspension and engine noise regardless of surface. It is nimble in traffic and a relaxing cruiser on motorways.
