What is it?<\/strong> Honda\u2019s Civic has been given a nip and tuck and for 2015 there is a new grille, bumper and lights design, a new rear spoiler and more equipment \u00a0has been added to the range. A new model also joins the line up, the Civic Si, which is intended to bridge the gap \u00a0to the turbocharged Type-R range-topper.<\/p>\n

First impressions of the new Honda Civic? <\/strong>The New Si certainly looks the part and has a dynamic presence on the road thanks to \u00a0sports 17\u201d alloy wheels in black gloss finish, mesh front grille, \u00a0rear spoiler, black interior roof lining and Alloy pedals.<\/p>\n

What about the interior?<\/strong>\u00a0 Inside the biggest change is the addition of the Honda Connect system that is now standard on all grades except entry level and offers a new tablet-style 7\u201d touchscreen interface, allowing for internet access, phone connectivity, and a range of other functions with Mirrorlink and Siri compatibility.<\/p>\n

And on the road?<\/strong> At the launch we drove the 1.6-litre i-DTEC with 118bhp and a substantial 300Nm of sheer pulling power.\u00a0 It also returns 3.6l\/100km or 78.5mpg and costs only \u20ac180 to tax annually.\u00a0 Press the start button and the changes are very noticeable; the steering is quick and responsive and the gearbox slick. \u00a0Take it on a back road and it is really fun to drive, without compromising on comfort as the ride may be a little \u00a0\u00a0on the firm side \u00a0\u00a0but it is never uncomfortable.<\/p>\n

How much?<\/strong> Starting price is \u20ac21,895 for the 1.4 i-VTEC with Comfort trim and the prices rises as far as \u20ac29,395 for the Executive trim.<\/p>\n

The Civic is available with four trim levels Comfort, Sport, Si and Executive<\/p><\/div>\n

How safe?<\/strong> Honda have made excellent\u00a0 efforts to keep you safe and you now get a host of active and safety features as standard including Honda\u2019s City-brake Active System, which uses radar sensors to monitor in front of the vehicle and automatically apply the brakes to reduce the risk of collision. The system operates between 5 and 32km\/h and is standard on all new Civics.<\/p>\n

What about my options?<\/strong> The Civic is available with three engines (1.4 i-VTEC, 1.6 i-DTEC and 1.8 i-VTEC)\u00a0and four trim levels; Comfort, Sport, Si and Executive.<\/p>\n
