The personalisation options coupled with the fabric roof and pop out rear windows give it a real retro feel and it comes with a 5 year extended warranty in Ireland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What about the interior?\u00a0<\/strong>Slip behind the wheel and there\u2019s a surprising amount of head and legroom. The boot will hold 196 litres which is an increase of 57 litres on the 107. There are plenty of creature comforts and you can customise your dashboard, door panels and mats. On the Active trim you get the new 7\u201d touchscreen (Active trim) which can display the screen of your smartphone using \u201cMirror Screen\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And behind the wheel?\u00a0<\/strong>At the launch we drove the 1.2 Allure TOP! \u00a0which has an 82bhp PureTech petrol engine &#8211; All Peugeot 108 engines cost \u20ac180\u00a0per\u00a0annum for\u00a0\u00a0road tax.<\/p>\n<p><strong>108 in town: <\/strong>In traffic the 3 cylinder engine \u00a0gets rather noisy but it\u2019s exceptionally nippy and you won\u2019t be beaten off the lights. Its small size means its a cinch to park, and because the wheels are spread the maximum distance apart it feels quite solid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>108 on the open road:\u00a0 <\/strong>The 108 has enough oomph for motorway driving too\u00a0 and the tiny engine feels much smoother on the open road and it is so light it\u2019s more than capable of propelling you around the countryside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Much?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The one litre\u00a068bhp 108 ranges from \u20ac13,290 to \u20ac15,870; we particularly like the fabric open roof and reckon its worth spending the extra money on. Opt for a PCP and prices\u00a0start from \u20ac129 per month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What about my options:\u00a0<\/strong> There are\u00a03 trim levels \u2013 Access, Active and Allure. The 108 has been designed for personalisation and therefore has 11 different styling themes to choose from along with 8 colours and 2 two-tone options. The TOP!
