Planning a road trip with your pet this summer? Whether you’re heading across the country or just taking a short drive, travelling with animals requires a bit of extra preparation to ensure the journey is safe, stress-free, and enjoyable for both you and your four-legged companion.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, safety comes above all. Just like humans, pets must be properly restrained in the car. Letting them roam freely, especially in the front seat or boot, is not only dangerous \u2014 it can be fatal. Airbags can seriously injure or kill pets in the front seat during a crash, and the boot is no place for an animal that needs your attention or could easily become distressed.<\/p>\n

    Harnesses:<\/strong> Ideal for medium to large dogs, these clip into a fastened seatbelt and secure around your dog\u2019s chest, back, and shoulders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Water and fresh air are essential, especially in warmer months. Even in mild weather, car interiors can heat up fast, putting pets at risk of heatstroke.
