But while most would frown upon the use of mobile phones on the road and therefore \u00a0reckon such drivers deserve to be left waiting, the rest of the top ten list reveals more interesting prejudices; performance cars and flash cars come in at 2nd and 4<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 20px;\">th<\/span>\u00a0while those towing a caravan are 3rd\u00a0on the list. In 5th\u00a0place is the 4&#215;4 driver while both taxi drivers and learner drivers slot\u00a0in at 6<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 20px;\">th\u00a0<\/span>and 7<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 20px;\">th<\/span>\u00a0place respectively. Not surprisingly bus and van drivers are also on the list and pensioners are the 10<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 20px;\">th\u00a0<\/span>least likely type of driver to be let out at a junction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other findings included<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>45 % of drivers surveyed allow their own prejudices to affect how courteous or aggressively they act towards other road users<\/li>\n<li>27 % of drivers are more likely to be courteous to people in the same make and model of car as them.<\/li>\n<li>Opinions are divided on hybrid and electric vehicles with one in three believing owners are right to consider the environment and an equal number describing them as &#8216;tree-huggers&#8217; or &#8216;self-righteous&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Six out of ten drivers admitted they get agitated by a sticker for a rival sports team or in support of a cause or organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Over half of all drivers expect to be stereotyped but only one in seven admit it affects their choice of car.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Listen back to<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.todayfm.com\/Do-you-judge-other-drivers-based-on-the-car-they-drive\">The Last Word with Matt Cooper\u00a0<\/a> <\/strong><\/em><strong>Do you judge other drivers based on the car they drive? <\/strong><em><strong>Geraldine Herbert (wheelsforwomen.ie) and Michael Sheridan (RTE) discuss driver\u2019s prejudices with Matt Cooper<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>So what do you think?
