Tesla Model X<\/p><\/div>\n

Tesla has finally unveiled its long-awaited electric crossover, the Model X, designed to shake up the luxury vehicle market writes Geraldine Herbert<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0 Its the world\u2019s first luxury electric SUV and\u00a0 the third vehicle produced by Tesla.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0 With two electric motors it can travel 400 kms on a single charge\u00a0 and carry seven people.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0 Featuring rear \u201cfalcon-wing\u201d doors that open up instead of out these were apparently inspired by Tesla Owner Elon Musk’s struggle to get\u00a0his twins into infant cars seats.<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0 Inside, the 2015 Tesla Model X is a bastion of cutting edge technology \u00a0including an air filtration system that will protect customers from a biological attack with a \u201cbioweapon defence mode\u201d.<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0 In \u201cludicrous mode,\u201d the car will sprint from 0 to 100 in a \u00a0neck-snapping\u00a03.2 seconds!<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0 A lower-cost Model 3 is due to join the range at the end of \u00a02017.<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0 The interior is exquisite and boasts the largest all glass panoramic windshield in production.<\/p>\n

8)\u00a0\u00a0 The doors not only look funky but are equipped with smart sensors that can sense when the owner is approaching and open on their own.<\/p>\n

9)\u00a0\u00a0 Space is abundant throughout and there are two boots, one at each end<\/p>\n

10) The future is not cheap and according to Reuters \u00a0the newest Tesla will start at \u00a0$132,000.<\/p>\n
