The boot is also huge with more than 500 litre capacity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And on the road<\/strong>? We had an opportunity to test drive the 1.7 litre diesel with 2WD; \u00a0there is also the option of a 2.0 litre diesel and later this month a 2.0-litre diesel with all-wheel-drive (AWD) joins the range<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kia Sportage and the city:<\/strong>\u00a0 Ride comfort has improved over the previous model and while there is a little body roll the Sportage handles well and holds the road comfortably.<br \/>\n<strong>Kia Sportage and the open road:<\/strong>\u00a0 On the motorway it is reasonable quite but the engine noise is noticeable and it feels a tad under powered when overtaking.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-14024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2.jpg\" alt=\"sportage_main2\" width=\"850\" height=\"567\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2-321x214.jpg 321w, https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/sportage_main2-140x94.jpg 140w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>How Much?<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>It comes in three grade levels: LX<strong> \u00a0<\/strong>priced from \u20ac27,995 and EX from \u20ac29,995 with a fully-loaded top-of-the line GSE priced from \u20ac34,495.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Safe? <\/strong>Reassuringly the new Sportage scored a maximum five-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP crash performance tests and comes equipped with an even stronger bodyshell then before, \u00a0a wide \u00a0range of passive safety equipment and the latest active safety and autonomous hazard avoidance technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What about my options?<\/strong>\u00a0Standard equipment on the entry level LX includes 16 inch Alloy, Auto Headlights, Leather Steering Wheel &amp; Gearshift, Roof rails, Cruise control, Bluetooth and Rear parking sensor. The EX trim is well equipped and comes with 17\u201d Alloys, Sat Nav &amp; Reversing Camera, Drivers Power Seat, Half Leather Seats, \u00a0Speed Limit Info, High Beam Assist and Lane Keep Assist.
