We talk Cars with Operation Transformation’s Dr Ciara Kelly<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ciara Kelly is a GP, Broadcaster and\u00a0award winning Columnist with the Sunday Independent. She is the Medical expert on RTE’s Operation Transformation & Newstalk’s The Right Hook. She is a Partner in The Carrig Clinic in Greystones and lives with her husband, four kids and giant dog<\/p>\n

If you were a car what car would you be?<\/strong>\u00a0 I\u2019d like to be a Porsche 356 but I\u2019m probably more of a Morris Minor<\/p>\n

Petrol head or Sunday driver? <\/strong>I’d like to pretend I’m more Sunday driver than petrol head… Am I allowed do that?<\/p>\n

Your current car – Love at first sight or just a means to get from A to B? <\/strong>I liked it the minute I saw it, not quite love at first sight but it is big and friendly looking reminds me of a Labrador<\/p>\n

What does it say about you?<\/strong> It\u2019s a Hyundai Santa Fe 7 seater so it says I\u2019ve a lot of kids!<\/p>\n

Do you have a favourite car gadget?<\/strong>\u00a0 Coffee holder for my caffeine addiction<\/p>\n

Who taught you to drive?<\/strong> My Dad in the car park of a supermarket.<\/p>\n

What was your first car?<\/strong> My first car was a Peugeot 206,\u00a0 it was a tiny banger I called \u201cBertrand\u201d.<\/p>\n

Whom do you most admire in your profession?<\/strong> I admire Dr Ronan Kavanagh a Consultant Rheumatologist and Dr Liam Farrell a Medical Columnist. \u00a0Both of whom have spoken so open and honestly about their own lives which I think is really brilliant for other Doctors and patients to hear.<\/p>\n

What was your best career decision to date?<\/strong> Studying Medicine and \u00a0writing the first article for the Sunday Independent.<\/p>\n

What is on your car stereo right now?<\/strong> The Pixies Sigma and Newstalk.<\/p>\n

One item you couldn’t live without?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Tea bags<\/p>\n

How do you relax?<\/strong> I sleep<\/p>\n

Who is your hero?<\/strong>\u00a0 William Wilde father of Oscar – for his eclectic and varied career and \u00a0Marie Curie.<\/p>\n

Dream drive in dream location?<\/strong>
\nIt would have to be a Porsche 356 convertible along the coast road from C\u00f4te d’Azur to Liguria.<\/p>\n

Passenger you\u2019d most like on a long journey?<\/strong> My Husband or if he was working Daniel Craig.<\/p>\n

Passenger you\u2019d least like?<\/strong> Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Describe yourself in one word?<\/strong> Willful<\/p>\n
