Reflections on Important Things in Life\u201d. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your current car &#8211; Love at first sight or just a means to get from A to B?\u00a0<\/strong>It&#8217;s a nice car but it would be nicer if I had time to hoover it regularly and have it shining. It&#8217;s about getting from place to place and having lots of space for changes of clothes and shoes when I&#8217;m working and two dogs when I&#8217;m not.<br \/>\n<strong>What does it say about you?\u00a0<\/strong>My car is a sturdy Audi saloon, it says I spend a lot of time on the road and like the security of a sturdy body. And a quiet drive. It also says I drink a lot of water when I&#8217;m driving cos there&#8217;s the odd empty plastic bottle in the back!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your first car?\u00a0<\/strong>A Red ford fiesta. I was so proud of owning, strangely my present car is red too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Who taught you to drive?\u00a0<\/strong>My mother. A woman of great patience and great faith. She needed both !<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Do you have a favourite car gadget?\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">My car mug. &#8220;Marbh \u00a0ag an tae agus marbh gan \u00e9!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Whom do you most admire in your profession?\u00a0<\/strong>I&#8217;m a big fan of Oprah. I follow her on Twitter and I love her inspirational thoughts. Such a positive woman.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your best career decision to date?\u00a0<\/strong>I&#8217;m delighted I trained to be a teacher. It gave me an understanding of different people&#8217;s lives. Some learn easily and others struggle. I really admire the difference teachers can make in young people&#8217;s lives.\u00a0 I think teaching has stood to me in broadcasting as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is on your car stereo right now?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Rod Stewart. I&#8217;m learning all the words for his gig in Nowlan Park in June. Can&#8217;t wait!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dream drive in dream location?\u00a0<\/strong>I travel all around the country with Nationwide. When the sun shines there&#8217;s no nicer place in the world to drive than in the Irish countryside. In the summer I love driving off early and seeing the sun rise. I have a lovely feeling of anticipation and excitement about the day&#8217;s shoot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Passenger you\u2019d most like on a long journey?\u00a0<\/strong>Me!! I really enjoy being in the car on my own. \u00a0Sometimes I don&#8217;t even turn on the radio. I savour the quiet.
