2017 Toyota C-HR<\/p><\/div>\n

Toyota\u2019s \u00a0new crossover SUV the C-HR will be available in Ireland from November writes Geraldine Herbert<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. We love what Toyota have done with the styling particularly the bulging fenders and the\u00a0falling roofline, its angular and edgy in a way we have not seen before from the Japanese car maker.<\/li>\n
  2. The C-HR is slightly smaller than the RAV4 at just under 5 meters long, 1.8 wide and 1.5 high.<\/li>\n
  3. Rivals include the Mazda CX-3, Honda\u2019s HR-V, the Mitsubishi ASX and Nissan\u2019s Qashqai.<\/li>\n
  4. Powering the new SUV is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with 85kW\/185Nm. There will also be a full hybrid version.<\/li>\n
  5. The new C-HR is not only compact and stylish but its also fuel efficient and in hybrid form it returns a combined fuel consumption of only 3.7 l\/100 km.<\/li>\n
  6. Inside, the daring look of the exterior is toned down a little but it is contemporary and uncluttered.<\/li>\n
  7. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic Continuously Variable Transmission, and for those who live where the weather is less than ideal the CVT versions are available in all-wheel drive.<\/li>\n
  8. With three grades of C-HR from which to choose, there\u2019s a version in every price range. The 2017 C-HR \u00a0starts from \u20ac26,895 for the base model to \u20ac32,950 for a top of the range version.<\/li>\n
  9. The C-HR name means \u00a0Coupe High Rider<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
