With a car in front of you its much easier to remember to stay on the right side of the road. Be particularity careful on lonely roads, after taking a short break and in the morning.<br \/>\n<strong>2)<\/strong> Put a sticker on the dashboard reminding you to stay on the right.<br \/>\n<strong>3)<\/strong> if you&#8217;re hiring a car, opting for an automatic transmission over a manual one will make life slightly easier and will save you having to use the gearstick with your opposite hand.<br \/>\n<strong>4)<\/strong> Keep in mind that as the driver you should always be in the centre of the road.<br \/>\n<strong>5)<\/strong> Bring a navigator along if possible so you don\u2019t have to worry about navigation and turns, and you can fully concentrate on the drive.<br \/>\n<strong>6)<\/strong> Pay particular attention at roundabouts which work in the reverse to Ireland so you need give way on the left and drive around anti-clockwise.<br \/>\n<strong>7)<\/strong> On motorways and dual carriageways, the overtaking and slow lanes are also reversed in Europe.<br \/>\n<strong>8)<\/strong> Expect the unexpected and give yourself space.
