I was hoping to get some advice with regard to buying a car. I have started a new job which will involve a bit of travelling (But not a huge amount) and I need a reliable car. The car I currently own is far from it. I was hoping to spend between \u20ac4,000 and \u20ac6,000 and ideally would be looking for something that is good value but also a nice looking car \u2013 as I plan to keep it for a longer term. I would greatly appreciate some advice for this purchase.<\/p>\n

Thanks for the question and congrats on the new job.\u00a0 We have assumed that you don\u2019t need a huge amount of space so something smaller that a hatchback would be suitable. The main criterion therefore is price, reliability and style!<\/p>\n

The Swift is one of the most stylish cars around that is well priced and reliable. It is also great fun to drive. There is a good selection here<\/a> that we found on beepbeep.ie.<\/p>\n

Not quite as cool looking as the\u00a0Swift the VW Polo is a popular choice for very good reason. It is a \u00a0fun size Golf and is \u00a0well built and very spacious. There is a good range here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our last suggestion would be the Ford Fiesta, it\u2019s been around forever so there are\u00a0a lot to choose from with your money. Also it has super handling and precise steering that makes it a great drivers car, our selection is here<\/a><\/p>\n

Finally as we have said before Ciara <\/strong>whatever you are thinking of buying, take it for a drive and make sure it has road-legal tyres and a valid NCT certificate.<\/p>\n
