While the FlexFix bike carrier which can hold three bicycles, will certainly interest the keen cyclist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What about the interior. <\/strong>Inside there is plenty of head and legroom and a good commanding view from behind the wheel. The dash and instrument panel is all very familiar Opel territory and it is spacious throughout.\u00a0\u00a0With more than 19 storage spaces and up to 1,372 litres of luggage space, the Mokka has been clearly designed with active families in mind.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wheels3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3036\" title=\"wheels3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wheels3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"362\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wheels3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.wheelsforwomen.ie\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wheels3-300x181.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>And on the road? <\/strong>At the launch in Hamburg we\u00a0had the opportunity to drive both the 1.7 CDTI turbodiesel and the turbocharged 1.4 petrol.<br \/>\n<strong>Opel Mokka and the city:<\/strong> \u00a0Easy to maunoueve the Mokka \u00a0is light and responsive around the city.<br \/>\n<strong>Opel Mokka and the open road:<\/strong> \u00a0Both engines proved noisy on the motorway but the Mokka is comfortable and handles well. While the 1.4 turbo petrol is punchy and lively, the 1.7 diesel, most likely to be the bigger seller in Ireland,\u00a0benefits from\u00a0its sheer pulling power.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Much? <\/strong>Prices for the new Opel Mokka start at \u20ac19,995 for the 1.6 5 Speed, rising to \u20ac27,995 for the 1.7 CDTi 6 Speed AWD<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Safe?\u00a0<\/strong>Safety features include anti-lock brakes, eight airbags as standard, electronic stability programme, hill start assist, traction control and hill descent control. In addition there is front camera fitted that picks up road signs and warns of speed restrictions up to 60km away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are my Options?\u00a0 <\/strong>Apart from front-wheel drive (FWD), the Mokka can be fitted with an all-wheel drive (AWD) technology for better traction and handling.
