We\u00a0have asked some of the many women working in motoring to share their Working Week with us.\u00a0 This week we catch up with <\/em><\/strong>Aisling Doyle, Vehicle Acquisition Supervisor for Enterprise Rent-a-Car.<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Monday
\n<\/strong>I\u2019m up at 6:00. I shower, get dressed and do my hair. I have time for a quick bowl of porridge and a pint of water. I\u2019m on the road before 7:00.
\nI\u2019m in work just before 8:00 at which time I check my emails and reservations for the week ahead. At 9:00 I audit and update spare key reports. I meet with manufacturers from 10:00 until 13:15. I have a lunch meeting with a manufacturer after which I meet another anufacturer until 15:30. After that I have time to check my emails and type up notes from the days meeting.I have a final manufacturer meeting at 17:00. Once that meeting is finished I leave for home.<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0
\nI\u2019m feeling fitness motivated this morning so I get up earlier and go for a 5km run. I\u2019m in the office before 8:00 at which time I hop on an Enterprise management conference call. At 8:30 I have thirty minutes to respond to emails. 9:00 I prep for a fleet meeting. At 10:30 I have a fleet meeting to review current the month and plan for the next three months. By 11:40 I\u2019m back on my email and returning missed calls. 12:30 I follow up with manufacturers on yesterday\u2019s meetings. 13:30 I leave the office for lunch with the team. At 14:30 I have a fortnightly update meeting with the financial controller. I review new car deliveries for the day and update the system at 16:00. I then get a chance to go through my emails and respond. I confirm my appointments for the next two days and head home at 18:00.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/strong>\u00a0
\nI\u2019m far too comfortable in bed this morning to even consider going running. I get up at 6:20, get ready and hit the road. I\u2019m at my desk at 8am checking my emails. By 9am I\u2019m updating the ordering system with new orders and delivery dates. I have a breakfast bar and a coffee as I work. I\u2019ve a vehicle acquisitions conference call for the UK and Ireland at 10:00. By 11:30 I\u2019m catching up on phone calls. At 12:00 I download raw data to compile management reports. I have a lunch meeting with a car dealer at 13:00. At 14:00 I finish reporting and start cost analysis. I review new car deliveries for the day and update the system at 17:00. Before I leave the office I spend some time catching up on email. I agreed to do a bootcamp with one of my colleagues so we start that at 18:30.<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/strong>\u00a0
\nI wake up feeling stiff after yesterday\u2019s bootcamp. I\u2019m up at 6:15 and do some light stretching before I get ready and have breakfast. At 8:00 I\u2019m preparing for a fleet call which commences at 9:00. That\u2019s followed by a pricing call at 9:30. By 10:30 I\u2019m back at my desk checking my emails. I\u2019m running cost analysis until 13:00 at which point a group of us leave for lunch. From 13:45 onwards I\u2019m in meetings with dealers. I get a chance to check my emails before I leave for the day at 18:00.<\/p>\n

Friday\u00a0
\n<\/strong>The week has flown by. I\u2019m feeling very motivated this morning so I wake early to go for a 7km run. After my run I have a bowl of porridge and a protein shake. I\u2019m out in our airport office at 8am for meetings. At 11:00 I\u2019m back in our admin office where I check my emails, analyse progress this week and plan for the week ahead. I review new car deliveries for the prior day at 12:00 and update the system. Before lunch I update our new car needs and purchase notes. I go for lunch at 13:30. At 14:30 I update the Eflow file. I meet with dealers from 14:45 until 17:00. I spend an hour updating notes from the dealers meetings and confirming appointments for next week. I finish up at 18:00 when a few of us have a coffee in the kitchen before heading home.<\/p>\n
