\n2014 is just around the corner and there is a lot to look forward to in terms of new car launches! From the superminis to sports cars this is our choice of what we think are the 10 cars that are worth the wait writes Geraldine Herbert<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Alfa Romeo 4C<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally the much anticipated Alfa Romeo 4C is arriving here in at the beginning of 2014. This rear wheeled two seater is the Alfa to exceed all expectations. \u00a0Powered by a 1.75 litre four cyclinder turbo that delivers 237bhp and 350Nm it promise pure and driver focused fun.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"BMW<\/a>

BMW 4 Series Convertible<\/p><\/div>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 BMW 4 series convertible<\/strong>
\nThe\u00a04-series coupe will be joined by a convertible version in March with a starting price of \u20ac38,480. The Convertible has a folding metal roof that can be raised or lowered in 20 seconds while driving at speeds of up to 5km.<\/p>\n

\"Citro\u00ebn<\/a>

Citro\u00ebn Grand C4 Picasso<\/p><\/div>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Citroen Grand C4 Picasso<\/strong>
\nFirst up for Citroen in 2014 \u00a0is the seven seat version of their very stylish C4 Picasso arrives in January. With sleek styling inside and out the large MPV offers even more clever seating options and storage.<\/p>\n

Ford EcoSport<\/p><\/div>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ford EcoSport<\/strong>
\nThe new Fiesta-based SUV the EcoSport will be launched in May. Prices as yet are unconfirmed but we would expect a starting price in the region of \u20ac22,000.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hyundai i10
\n<\/strong>The all new generation \u00a0i10 will launch in early January and will retail from \u20ac11,995. Longer, lower and wider than the previous model it boasts best in class for legroom and has a boot-space of 252 litres. It will be available in 1.0 litre manual and automatic version.<\/p>\n

New Generation Hyundai i10<\/p><\/div>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jaguar F Type Coupe<\/strong>
\nJaguar\u2019s stunning F-Type Convertible launched earlier this year is to be joined in March by a hard-topped Coupe version.<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mazda3<\/strong>
\nMuch is expected from the new Mazda3. It arrives with a fresh look and new engine range in time for the January sales.<\/p>\n

8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mercedes _Benz GLA<\/strong>
\nIt will be another busy year in 2014 for Mercedes Benz who will launch 6 models next year. The first of those is \u00a0a BMW X1 and\u00a0 Audi Q3 rival the GLA.<\/p>\n

\nIts a busy year for Nissan and first up is the second-generation\u00a0Nissan Qashqai\u00a0 in January. An incredibly important car to Nissan it has proved to be a huge sales success and can be credited with spawning the compact crossover market.<\/p>\n

New Peugeot 308<\/p><\/div>\n

10)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Peugeot 308<\/strong>
\nThe big news for Peugeot next year will be the arrival of the all-new 308. Likely to be priced in the region of\u00a0 \u20ac19,000 it will be powered by\u00a0 a 1.2 and 1.6 litre petrol and a 1.6 diesel\u00a0 with a three-cylinder 1.2 petrol engine available in the Spring.<\/p>\n
