\"geneva_1\"<\/a>As the 84th\u00a0Geneva\u00a0Motor\u00a0Show\u00a0gets under way next week we preview some of the new cars and exciting concepts we can expect to see.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A \u2013 ACTIVE TOURER<\/strong>
\nBMW will unveil its first ever MPV, the 2 Series Active Tourer. It will be the\u00a0 only BMW model offered in front wheel drive model despite the fact that rear-wheel drive has always been the company’s defining characteristic. It arrives here in September.<\/p>\n

B – BHP<\/strong>
\nWeighing a mere 1,340kg with a bhp of 1,322 the\u00a0Koenigsegg\u00a0One \u00a0is set to become the world\u2019s most powerful production car.<\/p>\n

C \u2013 CITY CARS<\/strong>
\nPeugeot, Toyota and Citro\u00ebn will all showcase their new City Cars. Peugeot’s\u00a0new\u00a0108 \u00a0replaces the 107 while there will also be new versions, appearing at\u00a0Geneva\u00a0of Citro\u00ebn\u2019s C1 and Toyota\u2019s Aygo .<\/p>\n

D \u2013 DRIVERLESS CARS<\/strong>
\nSwitzerland-based design house\u00a0Rinspeed\u00a0 will reveal the XchangE concept, their take on what the inside of a driverless car might look like.<\/p>\n

E \u2013 EXTREME<\/strong>
\nTo mark the 10th anniversary of Opel’s OPC performance brand, \u00a0the fastest ever Astra OPC called the Extreme is set to be unveiled.<\/p>\n

F – FACE LIFT<\/strong>
\nFord will show a face lifted Focus that features a redesigned grille, new headlights and a modified set of bumpers to bring it more into line with the look of other Ford cars.<\/p>\n

G \u2013 GALLARDO REPLACEMENT<\/strong>
\nThe Lamborghini Gallardo was the best-selling vehicle in the Italian supercar company\u2019s history so all eyes will be on its successor, the Huracan, when\u00a0 the wraps come off the supercar at 8am on March 4.<\/p>\n

H \u2013 HOT HATCHES<\/strong>
\nOne of the most anticipated hot hatches the new 5th generation\u00a0Honda Civic Type R will be the star of the Honda stand.<\/p>\n

I \u2013 INTRADO<\/strong>
\nHyundai will unveil its new hydrogen fuel-cell concept vehicle the Intrado.<\/p>\n

J \u2013 JEEPSTER<\/strong>
\nJeep is expected to unveil an entry level model dubbed \u201cJeepster\u201d.<\/p>\n

K \u2013 KIA<\/strong>
\nThe centrepiece\u00a0for the Kia stand is the Soul EV which will be the brand’s first globally sold electric vehicle when production starts in the second half of 2014.<\/p>\n

L\u00a0 – LF-NX<\/strong>
\nThe crossover craze\u00a0continues and Lexus will preview its new SUV at Geneva next month. The \u2018NX\u2019 apparently stands for nimble crossover.<\/p>\n

M \u2013 MAJESTIC<\/strong>
\nMercedes – Benz has lifted the wraps on its new\u00a0stunning S-Class Coup\u00e9\u00a0model. Elegant and low-slung, it’s a very close adaption of the concept car that received rave reviews at Frankfurt motor show last year.<\/p>\n

N – NISMO<\/strong>
\nNissan\u2019s\u00a0ultimate GT-R Nismo is a race-oriented model delivering factory tuned supercar dynamics with enhanced aerodynamics and ultra-precise handling.<\/p>\n

O – \u00a0OCTAVIA SCOUT<\/strong>
\nGeneva marks the launch of Skoda\u2019s version of the Audi Allroad the Octavia\u00a0Scout.<\/p>\n

P \u2013 POCKET ROCKET\u00a0<\/strong>
\nAudi\u2019s new pocket rockert, \u00a0the\u00a0S1, \u00a0sprints from 0-100km\/h in 5.8 seconds thanks to \u00a0228bhp and 370 Nms of torque.<\/p>\n

Q – QUIRKY<\/strong>
\nCitro\u00ebn will showcase their new\u00a0C4 Cactus\u00a0model, a quirky styled family hatchback set to compete against the Golf and Focus.<\/p>\n

R – RS<\/strong>
\nTo commemorate 20 years since the Avant RS2, Audi is presenting the new RS 4\u00a0Avant Nogaro\u00a0selection at their stand next week.<\/p>\n

S \u2013 SUPERCAR<\/strong>
\nNo motor show would be complete without supercars stealing the main stage and trying to outdo each other and next month\u2019s show is no exception with both McLaren and Ferrari unveiling new cars.<\/p>\n

T- TWINGO<\/strong>
\nDeveloped in conjunction with Daimler, Renault\u2019s new Twingo now comes with a rear mounted engine and a choice of four funky new colours.<\/p>\n

U \u2013 USER FRIENDLY<\/strong>
\nMercedes Benz\u2019s eight-seat MPV, the new V-Class, \u00a0promises to be the most user friendly of the show. Inside there is a host of feature that will make it more practical for everyday use.<\/p>\n

V \u2013 VISION C<\/strong>
\nSkoda’s\u00a0Vision C\u00a0concept car at the 2014\u00a0Geneva\u00a0motor show conveys the future design direction for the brand and takes the form of a five-door coupe.<\/p>\n

W – \u2018WHISPER DIESEL\u2019<\/strong>
\nOpel\u2019s Astra is to be equipped with the super-smooth new generation 1.6 CDTi engine – known as the ‘Whisper Diesel’.<\/p>\n

X – The XLV<\/strong>
\nThe XLV (eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle) is a new concept car from the Korean Car Makers SsangYong.<\/p>\n

Y – YAWNS<\/strong>
\nThere\u2019s bound to be a few at the show but we\u2019ll have to wait and see!<\/p>\n
