I love both talk and music radio &#8211; in fact I probably enjoy the radio as company more so than humans!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Who taught you to drive?\u00a0<\/strong>My Dad. Patience of a saint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How has been a parent changed the way you think about a car?<\/strong>I used to have a Mini Cooper S Turbo Cabriolet, it couldn&#8217;t have been more impractical but it was great fun. Overpriced, fuel guzzling and too small to fit anything. At least I indulged when I could. Now I have to be practical and think of safety, baby seats, room for buggies and with the price of petrol and diesel, we&#8217;ve all become more sensible with our car choice I think.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Whom do you most admire in your industry?\u00a0<\/strong>I had lunch with Anne Doyle last week and it was such a pleasure. I was at the Unicef annual lunch last week and I was lucky enough to have Anne beside me at the lunch in the Shelbourne hotel. She was hilariously good company. Anne worked hard throughout her career, was hugely respected within the media industry in Ireland and had that perfect blend of friendly and professional. We never saw her panic, regardless of how stressful her environment might have been (newsrooms aren&#8217;t calm places on a busy news day!) but she maintained grace and calm at all times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your best career decision to date?\u00a0<\/strong>Hopefully that&#8217;s yet to come but joining the Ireland AM team was a great move for me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is on your car stereo right now?\u00a0<\/strong>I&#8217;m loving anything from Pharrell at the moment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>One item you couldn&#8217;t live without?\u00a0<\/strong>My iphone. It&#8217;s stores so much of my life it&#8217;s kind of scary!<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you relax?\u00a0<\/strong>Sitting on the playroom floor with my boys building towers or crashing cars in to each other!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is your hero?\u00a0<\/strong>My mother.
