How Good is the Dyson DC58?

dyson3We asked Trish O’Rourke to share her thoughts with us on the Dyson DC58

Shortly before Christmas much to my surprise and delight I was selected to road test a  hand held Dyson DC 58 courtesy of a Wheels for Women competition.

It arrived on January 22nd the day before my birthday and I couldn’t wait to test it out.

I have previously had two hand held hoovers and have to admit I was disappointed by their lack of power and found it easier  and less frustrating to resort to a dustpan and brush- not so with this little beaut.

My car, or rather the filthy state of it was what had prompted me to enter the competition as it hadn’t been cleaned in over a year. Laziness and the awkwardness of dragging the hoover out were my excuses but it was starting to get embarrassingly dirty so it was with great enthusiasm that I ventured out to road test the dyson.

What can I say, it has proven to be a little gem. It effortlessly took away the dirt and grime from the floor of the car and the attatchments made it easy to get at the awkward to reach places, like in between the seats.

It is fun to use as the results can be seen instantly. The suction is really powerful and apart from the car I have found it works great on the stairs and under beds etc. I have two cats who leave a trail of hairs everywhere and the dyson is super in hiding the evidence.

So far I have no criticisms to make . It really is wonderful and has become my new favourite toy.

So big thanks to Dyson and Wheels for Women from a vey happy Dyson owner.
