We talk cars with Tipperary native Niamh Kennedy who was crowned Miss Ireland 2016

Since being crowned Niamh has had a whirlwind year in the spotlight and has enjoyed a successful career modeling all over the country with The Andrea Roche Agency. She is most notably known as an ambassador for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland as she has being featured in newspaper articles and television and radio interviews sharing her family history with the disease. From Miss Ireland success, she was given the chance to represent Ireland at the Miss World pageant. Miss World 2016 was held in Washington D.C in December 2016 where Niamh competed against 117 other women for the coveted title. Now, Niamh is embarking on her return to education at Maynooth University to study a degree in International Finance and Economics this month.

 

Your current car – Love at first sight or just a means to get from A to B? ​The Citroën​ C3 – ​love at first sight!

What does it say about you? All about style! The perfect city car.

What was your first car? Beautiful Black 05 golf. I loved it, and still do!

Who taught you to drive? My older brother. It was an experience to say the least.

Do you have a favourite car gadget? Bluetooth saves the day, everyday!

Whom do you most admire in your profession? Andrea Roche, one ​of​ the best business minds I know.

What was your best career decision to date? I don’t really think there has been one decision but always working with professionalism and just being nice to people I feel has worked very well thus far!

What is on your car stereo right now? John Gibbons – P.Y.T Pretty Young Thing

Dream drive in dream location? Mustang road tripping around California! Definitely on the bucket list.

Passenger you’d most like on a long journey? My dog. She’s a gorgeous black Labrador who loves trips in the car, to the beach preferably.

Passenger you’d least like? Justin Bieber
