Looking for a good deal on a new car? Geraldine Herbert rounds up the current offers available to tempt buyers, from discounts to fuel vouchers
Now is a good time to buy a BMW, with low finance rates of 1.9%across the range. Cupra customers can avail of 2.9% PCP finance across the range, an online discount voucher worth €1,000 available for all models, plus a complimentary Cupra Care Pack – which includes three services – for all 212 customers. Dacia, meanwhile, is offering 4.9% finance rates, three months deferred payments and zero deposit on the Duster, while the all-new Sandero is available from €39 per week with 4.9%APR finance on HP and PCP.
Honda kicks off its 212 campaign with a choice of three offers on the HR-V: 3.9%APR finance or a Staycation Accessory Kit or a one-two-three deal (one year’s free road tax, two-year free service plan and a three-year warranty).
Hyundai’s new 212 Electric bonus means anyone buying an Ioniq Electric or Kona Electric during July 2021 qualifies for €500 free electricity compliments of Hyundai. Other 212 offers include five years of free servicing or 3.9% APR or Eco bonus of €5,000 when you book and register a new Hyundai by July 31.
Savings can be made across the Jaguar model range for 212, with 3.9% APR PCP finance offered on the E-Pace, F-Pace, XE & XF until July 31. Kia is kicking off it’s July sales push with – Hire Purchase from 0% APR on the Sportage, Stonic, e-Soul & Full Ceed Range and PCP Finance at 3.9% across the Kia range.
Order a new Land Rover Discovery Sport or Range Rover Evoque before July 31 and avail of 3.9% APR finance.
To tempt buyers into their range, Lexus is offering a hybrid trade-up allowance of €2,000 or a 3.9% APR on all NX or UX models and 3.9% PR on the ES.
Mazda is offering a combination of low finance rates and discounts across the range for 212. The 2 benefits from a €1,000 contribution or 3.9% APR; the 3 is offered with a €2,000 contribution and 3.9% APR finance on outgoing stock or 4.9% APR and a €2,000 contribution on the updated 2021 model; the 6 with a €2,000 contribution or 4.9% APR; the CX-30 with a €2,000 contribution and 3.9% APR finance on outgoing stock or 4.9% APR and a €2,000 contribution on the updated 2021 model; the CX-5 with a contribution of €1,500 or 4.9 % APR; and the all-electric MX-30 comes with a free premium Wallbox up to the value of €1,200 and 5.9% APR (from €305 per month).
Low finance rates and a free charge point are offered across the MG Motor range for 212. The MG ZS is available from €65 a week, with 1.9% APR PCP finance. There is also the option of 2.9% APR HP finance on all ZS models, while the MG HS and the MG5 are offered with 3.9% APR finance.
Mini buyers can choose 2.9% APR finance rate at dealerships across the country with an exclusive upgrade contribution of up to €1,000 for certain models and trims. The new three-door Hatch now starts at €206 per month and the new Mini Electric is available from €308 per month.
Order a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV before May 31 and get a free Wallbox Pulsar home charge point worth €800 and 0% APR HP finance. The new Mitsubishi Space Star is available for €38 per week, with 3.9% APR PCP finance. And if you are in the market for a new pick-up, there is 2.9% PR HP on a new L200 or a €1,000 trade-in booster if you plan to buy before May 31.
Making the switch to an electric car has never been easier, thanks to the Power of Zero offer from Nissan in conjunction with AIB and Electric Ireland. Anyone buying a new Leaf can avail of 0% finance, a free installed home charger and one year’s free servicing. This offer is alongside tax savings of up to €1,843 as a result of the recent budget changes to the VRT and VAT rates. Also, customers purchasing a new 212 Nissan can choose from 3.9% APR finance available across the range, No Deposit Subscribe and Drive PCP finance, and 0%HP finance on the new Nissan Micra.
Unsure about going electric? Opel’s Take Charge offer now includes both the Corsa-e and the Mokka-e. Opel customers who switch their energy to Energia’s green electricity can avail of a free home charger when they register a new Opel electric passenger car. Reassuringly, if a buyer is not satisfied with their new EV after six months Opel will exchange it for a petrol or diesel model of n equivalent price. Opel passenger cars are on offer with a 2.9% APR rate on HP and PCP and 0% HP finance rate is available on light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
Savings of up to €4,000 are on offer from Peugeot dealers plus a finance rate from 3.9%APR on passenger vehicles. There’s 0% finance available on LCVs, a five-year warranty and a service plan offer for the Peugeot Hybrid and EV range and on the 3008 and 5008 models plus an all-new VIP roadside assistance pack.
Customers looking to buy a 212 all-electric Zoe have a choice of two new offers from Renault. Avail of a €1,000 green grant, 0%APR HP finance and a free home charger or opt for the new Drive Away offer that gets you on the road from €89 per week and includes delivery, metallic paint, three years’ servicing, 0% APR PCP plus a free home charger. For both offers, customers can take a 24- hour test drive – with the car delivered to their home. Celebrating 30 years of Clio, buyers can benefit from the new Drive Less, Pay Less, with €1,000 cashback, 3.9% APR (from €130 per month), and three months deferred payments. Captur, Megane and Kadjar buyers will receive up to €1,000, €1,250, and €1,500 cashback respectively, with 3.9% APR HP or PCP and three months deferred payments.
As part of Seat’s 212 campaign, 0% PCP finance is available on the Ibiza, Arona and Ateca. Buyers can also avail of 2.9%PCP finance on the Leon and Tarraco, while the Leon e-Hybrid is offered with 3.9% PCP finance plus an online scrappage voucher of up to €2,000 across a range of models.
Skoda is offering low APR PCP rates starting from 0pc.
At SsangYong dealerships around the country, any Korando petrol vehicles sold and registered in July or August 2021 will benefit from two years’ free motor tax, servicing and a €200 fuel voucher.
Subaru has two new offers to tempt 212 buyers: 4.9% PCP and HP finance and three years’ free servicing across the entire Subaru range. There’s 0% PCP & HP finance available from Suzuki on the Ignis, Swift, Vitara and S-Cross.
Toyota is offering customers up to €3,000 off a new car in the form of financial contributions, a trade-in booster up to €2,500 and APR from 2.9% with Toyota Financial Services. They also have servicing as standard across the range.
To lure buyers into showrooms around the country, Volkswagen is offering a range of interest-free PCP finance across its range for orders placed before June 30 and registered in July, including Polo, Golf, T-Cross, T-Roc, Tiguan, Tiguan Allspace, Passat, Arteon, Arteon Shooting Brake and the electric ID.3.
Volvo dealers nationwide are offering 0% finance on selected XC40 models and 2.9%PCP finance on the XC90 and XC60 in Inscription or R-design trim levels.
