Who is it aimed at? The Grand C4 Picasso is aimed at those looking for a practical and stylish 7 seater with a touch of French flair in a compact package. Styling? MPVs are never the most stylish cars on the road but the Grand C4 Picasso benefits from Citroen’s trademark quirky styling with smooth lines and a sleek front end while the 3D taillights do help to give the car a slightly wider appearance from the rear. Under the Bonnet? The car tested was powered by a 1.6l Bluehdi with 120PS. It won’t win any drag races but is perfectly adequate for everyday driving. What about inside? Inside the Grand C4 Picasso is extremely versatile. The dashboard is clean and uncluttered and the vast amount of glass makes for a bright and airy cabin. Each of the 5 rear seats folds independently so it’s extremely adaptable for carrying any size or shape of load, even with passengers on board. The 3 seats in the middle row are of equal size and will allow for 3 ISOfix seats to be installed easily and there’s no tunnel to get in the way of a support leg in the middle seat. Also, with a child seat installed in the middle there’s plenty of space for adult passengers on either side.   On the Road? Despite looking a little on the awkward side, the Grand C4 handles surprisingly well and felt at home on narrow country roads. There is little or no engine noise and the suspension soaks up bumps with ease. And Safety? Standard safety equipment includes ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution & Emergency Braking Assistance, Electronic Stability Control with intelligent traction control, Automatic parking brake, Hill start assist and automatic activation of hazard warning lights while inside the cabin there is an unfastened seatbelt visual warning system. What are my options? The entry level “Touch Edition” comes with 16” alloy wheels, cruise control, rear parking sensors, 7” touchscreen and a height adjustable driver’s seat. Upgrading to “Feel” will get you 17” alloys, cornering fog lights, tinted windows, front and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera, Citroen Connect Nav and a 12” touchscreen.
