The Famous Fiat 127
What was your first car and why did you buy it? It was a Fiat 127 and my Dad bought it for me when I was 18! I’d just got a job in the bank and he was really proud of me so got me the car to get me to work.
What did you pay for it? Er…nothing…..Daddies are great!
How did it change your life? It was great, I could go to my (then) boyfriend’s house and go on fishing trips with him lol
What was the longest trip you ever took in the car? I drove from Dublin to Kerry for a weekend away. Was so surprised that we made it there!
What was your best memory or most memorable moment in the car? ER…..that is confidential lol
What was your worst memory associated with the car? One evening I ran out of petrol, (well the petrol gauge wasn’t working properly it was an old car) and I had to look really helpless until a really kind man about my Dad’s age came and gave me a lift home!
How long did you keep your first car? For about 1 year I think!
